A few days back Apple rolled out its latest iOS 11 version to specific iPhones, iPad and iPods as well. This version comes with some changes including Control Center, Apple Pay and many more. Today, we have jotted down the list of good and bad features in iOS 11.
Good
Siri: Apple's personal assistant, Siri will be able to translate phrases into German, Spanish, Italian, French and Mandarin Chinese. It will not only speak the phrase but will showcase it on your display so that you can see it.
Live Photos: With this version, you can edit live photos including adding effects like Bounce, Loop, and you get a preview window as you edit the Photos to see the overall outcome.
App store: The App store has been revamped majorly. It is now more manageable way, giving games their own section. Moreover, there is Today tab highlights specific apps with extensive profiles.
Screenshots: The iOS 11 has made a better approach to screenshots, where after you take a screenshot, and you can tap that thumbnail to mark it up with text and drawings.
Others: Some other features include automatically offload unused apps when you're low on capacity, documents and data are preserved, redesigning control center, and more.
Bad
Notification: This time Apple has messed up with notification on lock screen. Usually, we do a leftward swipe to view or clear the notification, instead, that swipe launches the camera app.
News and Music: The news and music app haven't seemed to be much improved. In the new app, they've added a new Spotlight tab featuring editor-selected content and in the music app, you can set up a profile on Apple Music to share playlists and highlight favorite albums and stations. Both these features are unlikely to get any attention from the power users.
No group Facetime: Apple debuted its FaceTime and it’s still not initiated a calling with more than two people in it.
