Crime branch summons Kavlekar

Panaji: Leader of opposition in the Goa assembly, Chandrakant 'Babu' Kavlekar has been summoned to appear before the crime branch of the Goa police on Friday at 11 am in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
SP Karthik Kashyap confirmed that Kavlekar has been summoned on Friday in connection with the seizure of matka slips and booklets in his office room in Betul. During the search on Wednesday, sleuths of crime branch had seized thousands of matka slips and booklets besides other material from the room. tnn
