England vs West Indies, 2nd ODI gets called off after the hosts post 21/0 in 2.2 overs as rain stops play at Trent Bridge. After West Indies put England to bat first and the latter managed to make 21/0 in 2.2 overs when rain brought proceedings to a halt, the officials decided to call-off the 2nd ODI at Trent Bridge at 4.15 local time with puddles forming on the outfield. This leaves West Indies without hopes of pulling off a coup in the series. Chris Gayle may not be in the team but West Indies have proven themselves to be a side to beat in the shortest format of the game. The third ODI resumes in Bristol on Sunday. England had won the first ODI at home by 7 wickets.
