Kamal Haasan lauded Arvind Kejriwal for his fight against communalism and corruption after meeting the Delhi CM in Chennai on Thursday.

We had a very good meeting, exchanged ideas on the situation in the country and Tamil Nadu: Kejriwal said on meeting Haasan.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today called on actor Kamal Haasan, who has set political circles abuzz with speculation that he might join politics.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief was received at the airport by Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara.

Kejriwal met the actor at his office in Alwarpet here.

Haasan has been critical of the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu over various issues, including corruption, triggering sharp condemnation from some state ministers.

He recently called on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram.
