Last night’s thrilling win against Tamil Thalaivas shows that Pirates look set to win the Pro Kabaddi title for the third time in a row. Monu Goyat has been the star performer for them and even though captain Pardeep Narwal had an off-day against the Tamil Thalaivas, he managed to score 9 points. On the other hand, UP Yoddha have been in a horrible form. They have won just one of their last seven matches. As a result, they are massive 21 points behind the Patna Pirates despite playing an extra game. Veteran Jeeva Kumar has been a shadow of his former self. He has been sluggish in the tournament so far and has struggled to set the stage on fire.
