Chilli, jeera weaken on low demand

and jeera prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today on easing demand from retailers and stockists amid sufficient stocks.

Jeera common and jeera best quality also declined by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 19,800-20,000 and Rs 21,700- 22,100 per quintal.

Marketmen said muted demand from retailers and stockists against sufficient stocks, mainly pulled down and jeera prices.
