Pavan's effort in vain as Sri Kumaran win

Pavan’s five-wicket haul went in vain as Vidyanikentan Public School lost to Sri Kumaran Children’s Home by 19 runs in the KSCA Cup Group I, Division III under-16 inter-school cricket tournament here.

Batting first, Sri Kumaran’s posted 147 all out in 46 overs. For Vidyaniketan, Pavan was the most successful bowler, with figures of 5/30. Madhu chipped in with two wickets (2/30).

In reply, Sri Kumaran produced a disciplined bowling performance, with Vinay BC (3/46), Sharath B (3/25) and Suhit M (2/31) sharing eight wickets amongst them, to bowl out Vidyaniketan for just 128 in 29.3 overs.
