United States President Donald Trump met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday and said that there is a fair chance for a U.S.-brokered peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.
President Trump while discussing efforts made to achieve an enduring Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement with Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "That despite the difficulty, "I actually think with the capability of Bibi and, frankly, the other side, I really think we have a chance."
The two leaders met in New York for a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), reaffirming the special relationship and unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "I want to say that under your leadership, the alliance between America and Israel has never been stronger, never been deeper."
The President also underscored the United States' unwavering commitment to Israel's security.
