Activist asks Guv to allow him prosecute CM for 'misuse of

Social activist V Shashidhar has sought the state Governor's sanction for prosecution of Chief Minister for alleged nepotism and misuse of powerin the appointment of a legislator to a public office.

He said he has petitioned Governor to permit him to initiate criminal proceedings under Prevention of Corruption Act and various sections against for "illegally appointing Hoskote NNagaraj to the post of Chairman of International Airport Area Planning Authority."


In the submitted to the governor on September nine, Shashidhar, President of 'Police Maha Sangha', which is yet to be recognised, contended that Nagaraj was not a resident of alocation which does not fall under BIAAPA jurisdiction.

He told PTI that the legislator was a resident of Garudacharpalya instead, and "hence it is a violation of rules.
