On excellence

more-in

It’s disappointing to have a spectrum where institutes and places such as NASA, Silicon valley and many other top institutions of the world are studded with Indians but when it comes to our universities and colleges, none of them make it even to the top 200 in terms or academic excellence. India is still a centre of excellence as far as education is concerned and there is enormous talent and potential.

The urge to make compromises on quality won’t validate the true meaning of the Right to Education. A paradigm shift is required to ensure quality education.
