Panaji: Bodies of three of the four people who went missing at the Nagarmadi waterfalls at Chendia, Karwar, on Sunday were recovered by the Navy near Karwar port on Monday, taking the drowning toll to five.
Two women had drowned at the waterfalls on Sunday.
The bodies recovered on Monday were of Samir Gavde (32) from Keri, Ponda, Siddarth Chari (22) from Vasco, and Marcelina Estebio, also from South Goa. Renuka (23) is still missing, the Margao police said.
The six people were part of a group of around 50 picnickers from Goa. They could not come out of the water following a sudden rise in water level.
