Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation and Bangalore North Loh Sabha member D V Sadananda Gowda on Sunday said he will hold an interaction with pourakarmikas once a week over breakfast in order to boost their morale.

“Pourakarmikas keep our neighbourhood clean. I have decided to interact with them once a week over breakfast. I will cover all the Assembly segments that come under Bangalore North Parliamentary constituency,” he told reporters.

He was speaking after taking part in Swachachata Abhiyan to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Chemicals and Fertilizer Ananth Kumar also participated in cleaning activities in various places, including Lalbagh, National College grounds and K G Nagar in Bengaluru South constituency.
