The Jammu Police today arrested two people who were smuggling nearly 485 kg of poppy out of the state.
The arrest was made during routine checking at a road in Jammu city, when a police team flagged down a truck. On seeing the police, the driver and the helper got off and tried to flee but were arrested, a police official said.
