Punit Goenka re-elected IBF president

The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) today re-elected of Entertainment Enterprises as its president for a second term, the body said.

The decision was made in the IBF's 18th Annual General Meeting convened in the national capital.


The IBF board members also elected K Madhavan (Asianet Communications), N P Singh (Pictures Network), Rajat Sharma (TV) and Sudhanshu Vats (Viacom 18 India) as vice presidents of the IBF for a second consecutive term, it said in a statement.

Aroon Purie was elected as the treasurer of the foundation. Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi S Vempati was also co- opted as the director on the Board.

"I look forward to the support of each and everyone in the fraternity to collaborate with the and other regulatory bodies to provide an enabling environment to conduct our businesses in a transparent manner," Goenka said in a statement.
