The Delhi High Court on Friday asked the government and the authorities concerned to explore the possibility of allotting land for a minority school that has been functioning from tents since its demolition during the Emergency.
A Bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C. Hari Shankar asked the Delhi Chief Secretary to coordinate and hold meetings with all agencies, including the DDA and the civic body. The court was hearing a PIL seeking reconstruction of the school that was demolished on June 30, 1976.
