Haryana hopes to attract RS 20,000 crore investment: CM

Khattar was speaking after the launch of IT and ESDM policy by Union Minister for Electronics and at Summit.

On September 13, the cabinet had approved (IT) and Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) policy 2017.

The policy seeks to ensure that critical IT and Information Communication Technology (ICT) information is protected from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, modification, and disposal, whether intentionally or unintentionally, he added.

He said the would provide all kinds of facilities to realise the Memorandums of Understanding exchanged under the IT and ESDM policy.

"We have also started the process of skill development of youth in IT and other sectors through Vishwakarma Skill Development University," Khattar said.

On the proposed film policy, the chief minister said it was ready and would be launched in a month's time.

He said the state had also launched SARAL portal under which citizens could track more than 130 services through websites and SMS.

Similarly, HARPATH portal has been launched for mapping the damage to and repair of roads, he said.

Anyone can apprise the department concerned about the damage caused to roads just by posting a photograph on the portal, he added.

The chief minister said the state had embarked upon a three-pronged drive to check pollution in Gurugram.

With the start of Kundli-Manesar section of the KMP Expressway by the end of this year, traffic movement in the town would decrease considerably and air pollution minimised, he said.

Similarly, 25 CNG pumps would start functioning in Gurugram in one year and this would give relief from vehicle pollution, Khattar added.
