On the BSE, 5.71 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.45 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 26.80 and a low of Rs 25.45 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 52.25 on 16 December 2016 and a 52-week low of Rs 19.40 on 29 September 2016.
The company announced that it has received letter of award of contract from West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency for installation and commissioning of 150 units of rooftop grid connected solar photovoltaic plants each in array capacity of 10 Kwp at various locations of West Bengal.
Separately, Ujaas Energy announced that it has received letter of award of contract from Oil India for engineering, procurement and construction contract for Solar Energy Generation project of 500KW at pump station of Oil India at Jorhat in Assam.
Separately, the company said that it has received letter of allocation from SECI for an aggregate capacity of 20.03 megawatts (MW) for implementation of grid connected rooftop solar photovoltaic system scheme for government building in different states/union territory of India.
Ujaas Energy's net profit rose 1.9% to Rs 7.40 crore on 8.1% growth in net sales to Rs 106.87 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
