Refined palmolein gains up on consistent demand

Refined palmolein gained further for the fourth straight session at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market here today on consistent demand from retailers.

While, groundnut slipped owing to subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid ample supplies.


In the non-edibles, castorseeds bold and castor commercial rose further owing to rising demand from soaps and shippers industries.

Linseeds recovered due to fresh demand from paint and allied industries.

In the edible segment, refined palmolein climbed by Rs 4 per 10kg to Rs 607 from Wednesday's closing at Rs 603, However, groundnut declined by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 800 from Rs 810 previously.

In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 4,865 from Rs 4,850 and castoroil commercial went up by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 1,003 compared to Rs 1000 and Linseeds also gained Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 760 from Rs 735 previously.
