High speed rail project will provide 'Suvidha, Suraksha, Rozgar, Raftar', says PM Modi

Prime Minister Modi on Thursday laid the foundation stone for India's first high speed rail project.

Asserting that the project is eco friendly; Prime Minister Modi said that it will provide 'Suvidha' (facility), 'Suraksha', (Security) and will brings 'Rozgar' (Employment) and 'Raftar' (Speed).

Prime Minister laid the foundation in the presence of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter to share the news.

Prime Minister Modi further added that a new economic system is being developed along the Mumbai-corridor, and the entire area would become a single economic zone.

Meanwhile, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that the India-partnership is special, strategic and global. He said that he hopes to see the beauty of through the windows of the Bullet Train, a few years hence.
