Man hacked to death

A 34-year-old cab driver was hacked to death on Wednesday night near his house in Jakkasandra in Madiwala police station limits.

The deceased, identified as Subramani, had recently moved to Jakkasandra from Bandepalya. According to the police, Subramani came home from work and again went out after his friends invited him for dinner to a hotel nearby. He was attacked on the road with machetes by some miscreants. Passerby took him to hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The police suspect financial issues to be the motive behind the murder.

The Madiwala police detained three people on suspicion and are investigating.
