The Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS) in association with Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is organizing a national-level student technical fest —Sumshodhini-2017.
A poster of the event was released by Rajya Sabha member Captain V. Lakshmikantha Rao who is also the secretary of the institute.
The festival comprises 40 technical and non-technical events. Institute director Y. Manohar said that the technical events such as paper presentations is common activity for all branches. There are events specially designed for students of different disciplines like Civiquest, Concretrix, Tech Treasure hunt and workshop on connectivity for students of department of Civil Engineering; Robo Wars, Robo Race, Thrust, Aqua Drive, Robo Soccer, CADD modelling and workshop on 3D printing for Mechanical Engineering students; and Grill.20, Mind Spark, E-hunt, Instratrix, Rehash, Siman and workshop on Artigence for students in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, among others.
