BJP's Punjab unit said today it will hold state-wide protests over the "ineptness" of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh's government on Saturday, the day the Congress leader completes six months in his office.
Punjab BJP secretary Vineet Joshi said the party will "highlight the failures" of the state government during the protests.
He said farmers, youths, Dalits, businessmen, ex- servicemen, and students were feeling betrayed by Singh's government. The BJP leader, however, did not produce any evidence to support his allegations.
"The protests are being carried out against the ineptness of Capt Amarinder Singh government which has failed on all fronts," he alleged.
Joshi said the BJP has decided to "expose" the Congress government on September 16.
