Chairman of Centre for Policy Alternatives, New Delhi and eminent socio-political commentator Mohan Guruswamy will deliver the 14th Prof. S. Bashiruddin Memorial Lecture on ‘Perception over Reality’ on September 15 at the Administrative Staff College of India, Bella Vista Campus here.
The lecture is an annual event to perpetuate the memory of Professor S. Bashiruddin,who was a teacher par excellence besides being one of the pioneers of Communication and Journalism education in the country.
He was professor and head of Communication and Journalism Department in Osmania University, Vice Chancellor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Indian Ambassador to Qatar, to name just a few.
This event is held in conjunction with Advertising Club Hyderabad, Public Relations Society of India, A.P. Chapter and Osmania University Department of Communication and Journalism, with whom Professor Bashiruddin had close association.
