Lucknow: Class 10 student ends life, Blue Whale suspected

The dreaded Blue Whale challenge game allegedly claimed the life of a class 10 student in Krishnanagar area of Lucknow on Tuesday.

However, police claimed there was no evidence of Blue Whale game but further probe was on.

Police said Aditya Kureel, 15, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room in LDA colony of Krishnanagar.

Some relatives told police that the boy was upset after his parents took away his mobile phone a few days back after they caught him playing some objectionable game on it.

Inspector of Krishnanagar police station, Anjani Pandey, said the boy had filled private form for Class 10 and was taking coaching classes in Hazratganj area.

He said no injuries were found on the body.

Earlier on Thursday, a class VIII student Aditya Vardhan (14), of Indira Nagar had allegedly fallen victim to the dreaded game.
