Till 01:16 PM; a combined 30.73 million equity shares representing 0.85% of total equity of Idea Cellular have changed hands on the BSE and NSE.
According to media reports, ATC (American Tower Corporation), Brookfield are front runner to buy IDEA Vodafone tower business.
The BSE said that the exchange has sought clarification from Idea Cellular Ltd on September 13, 2017 with reference to news flashed on CNBC TV 18. The reply is awaited.
