A2A Safaris Appoints Faith Coetzee as General Manager

A2A Safaris has appointed Faith Coetzee as General Manager.

A South African national, Ms Coetzee has more than 18 years’ of experience in the travel industry and joins A2A in Hong Kong this month from global luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent, where she has worked as Sales and Marketing Director - Greater China since 2011.

 Prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2004, Ms Coetzee was a Travel Consultant at Wilderness Safaris in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Victor Dizon, co-founder of A2A, said, “We are delighted to have Faith join our team. Her knowledge and experience in luxury travel will be valuable in supporting our business in Asia. She will be instrumental in developing the business, building new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships with the top lodges, camps and various suppliers and partners in Africa and Latin America.”

Ms Coetzee joins A2A at a time of rapid growth for the company. The bespoke travel company saw bookings to Africa from Singapore, Manila and Hong Kong triple in 2016, while bookings to Latin America have doubled every year since A2A expanded into that region three years ago. In addition to Ms Coetzee, A2A had also recently hired Claire Betts as its Head of Latin America.

Ms Coetzee said, “Africa and Latin America are such vast and diverse continents. Even for seasoned travellers, there will always be something to discover in these places. I’m looking forward to sharing with our existing and new clients in Asia all that these regions have to offer.”
