Dejected private firm manager ends life

A 28-year-old man committed suicide by consuming liquor laced with poison at his rented house in Jalahalli on Monday afternoon.

JitinJospeh, a native Ernakulam in Kerala, worked as a manager at a private company in Peenya. He had sent a WhatsApp message to his brother, who stays in the US, saying that he is taking the extreme step as he was dejected with his life and, switched off his phone, the police said.

The shocked brother, who saw the message a little later, called up one of Jitin’s friends and asked him to check on Jatin. But it was too late. Jitin was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead. The Gangammanagudi police have taken up a case of unnatural death. There was no suicide note.
