Jaipur Open 2017 makes its debut on PGTI

Open will make its debut on the Professional Golf Tour of (PGTI) with the inaugural edition scheduled to tee off at the Rambagh Golf Club here from September 13 to 16.

PGTI and State Sports Council have jointly launched the Open, which carries a prize purse of Rs. 30 lakhs. The Pro-Am event will be played on September 17.


The tournament some of the top Indian professionals such as Rashid Khan, Kumar, Shamim Khan, Udayan Mane and Ashok Kumar, to name a few.

The international challenge will be led by the Sri Lankan trio of Mithun Perera, Anura Rohana and K Prabagaran, Bangladesh's Md Zamal Hossain Mollah, South African Damian Naicker and Nepal's Toran Bikram Shahi.

The Jaipur-based professionals in the field are Vishal Singh, Mahesh Yadav, Damodar Kumawat and Yogendra Kumawat.

Rambagh Golf Club is a challenging Par 70 championship course with a yardage of 6303. The course is strategically designed on sandy loam soil and has a picturesque location with beautiful surroundings.
