The Quality Circle Forum of India, Hyderabad Chapter, held its 31st annual convention here in the city on Monday. At the convention Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy presented QCFI award to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation Managing Director G.V. Rama Rao.
Speaking on the occasion the Home Minister urged the industrialists and managers to ensure cordial relationships with employees at all rungs of the organisational hierarchy. Quality, he said, should not be compromised.
At the two-day event, 200 teams from both public and private sector are presenting their projects that demonstrate efforts to improve quality.
“These projects were accomplished by employees by striving for few hours a week,” said Ch. Balakrishna Rao, Chairman for Quality Circle Forum of India.
“The annual convention is a platform to recognise employees at the bottom-line whose have helped organisations greatly improve.”
At the convention, discussions on various subjects including bridging the gap between market requirements and employee skills were discussed.
Special Chief Secretary B.P. Acharya, who was also there at the inaugural event, said the government wishes to organise interactions for officers of the civil service with the forum.
