Tin, nickel rebound on renewed demand

Tin, nickel and zinc prices rebounds at the non-ferrous metals market here today on fresh stockists' buying amid renewed demand from alloy industries.

Elsewhere, brass and select copper prices eased further owing sustained offtake from consumer industries.


Nickel and rose by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 765 and Rs 1,385 from Monday's closing level of Rs 760 and Rs 1,380.

Zinc inched-up by a Re per kg to Rs 226.

However, brass utensils scrap fell by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 312 from Rs 315.

Brass sheet cutting moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 323 as against Rs 325.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 431, Rs 421 and Rs 459 respectively.
