A woman has accused a placement agency owner of raping her here, police said today.
The woman from Jharkhand said Vijay raped her last night at Morna under the sector 24 police station, Superintendent of Police, City, Arun Kumar Singh said.
The accused brings women from Jharkhand and employs them as maids in Delhi-NCR.
She was employed as a maid at a house in Anand Vihar by the accused.
In a separate incident, a woman, who was in a live-in relationship with a married man Vikas, committed suicide last night, the police said.
Sector 20 police station incharge Anil Kumar Shahi said that Anita had argued with Vikas. After the argument, he went to meet his wife in Darjeeling.
On Anita's insistence, Vikas returned from Darjeeling yesterday after which Anita hanged herself.
The police detained Vikas for questioning.
Meanwhile in a separate incident, two women -- Kamlesh and Rama -- were killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Jewar's Kishorepur village.
