Unidentified miscreants set afire to the pandal in front of the AIADMK office at Mannargudi in the early hours of Tuesday.
Party office in-charge Sathyamurthy in his complaint has alleged that hooligans instigated by TTV Dhinakaran supporters caused the fire.
Fire tenders put out the blaze quickly but the perpetrators could not be identified as they had masked a nearby CCTV camera. Further investigation was under way
