MONTREAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 11, 2017) - (NYSE:CAE)(TSX:CAE) - In 1947, Kenneth R. Patrick, an ex-Royal Canadian Air Force officer, founded CAE. In 1952, the company built a new facility in Saint-Laurent for its 500 employees. 70 years later, CAE is a global training company with 8,500 employees. Its headquarters are still on Côte-de-Liesse. To honor the man behind this great canadian success, CAE and the Borough of Saint-Laurent invite media to the official inauguration of Kenneth-Patrick Street.
The event will take place on September 13, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
Marc Parent, CAE's President and Chief Executive Officer, Alan DeSousa, Mayor of Saint-Laurent, will attend, as well as CAE employees, residents of the street and members of Kenneth Patrick's family. A food truck will serve bagels and coffee.
