Four persons were arrested today on charges of drug peddling from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said.
On a tip-off, the police in a raid at Jammu district's Kotli Shah village arrested a man with 13.5 kg of poppy, an officer said.
In another incident, a person from Pattli Morh in Bari Brahmana was arrested and 1.3 kg of poppy was seized from him, he said.
In Jammu city, a motorcycle-borne man was arrested and apart from 11 grams of heroin, a pistol was also seized, the officer said.
In another incident, the police have arrested a person and seized 45 grams of cannabis in Katra belt of Reasi district, he said.
The officer said cases have been registered and investigations are underway.
