Well-known actor B.V. Radha (69) passed away in a private hospital early on Sunday morning. The multi-lingual actor suffered a cardiac arrest.
Radha, wife of actor and director K.S.L. Swamy who passed away three years ago, made her debut in the film Navakoti Narayana. She has acted in over 250 films as a female lead in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil. She had acted with several top heroes of that period, including A. Nageshwara Rao, N.T. Rama Rao, M.G. Ramachandran and Rajkumar. In her later years, she acted in several films as a character artiste.
While her eyes have been donated to Narayana Nethralaya, her body was donated to M.S. Ramaiah Hospital.
