Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration T. K. Sreedevi said payment gateways through HDFC, ICICI and SBI have been enabled for the citizens of all 72 urban local bodies across Telangana (except GHMC) to make use of the 23 services online.
These can be done through the Citizen Services Centres in the respective municipal offices, Mee Seva or the Citizen Buddy App.
Online services being offered to citizens for transacting digitally are property tax assessments, water tap applications, trade licences, mutations, vacant land tax, advertisement tax, road cutting permissions, grievances, building permissions and so on.
She further stated that with the help of the Citizen Buddy App it will be possible for the citizens to have details about the municipality concerned, area service person, service delivery standards, application forms, staff directory, idea box, etc. Property tax calculation can be done so also applying for water tankers while official notifications can also be viewed.
Apart from an integrated urban dashboard, the office has also developed an integrated urban land registry, e-office, development permission management system, biometric attendance and is on verge of completing the geo-tagging of all urban properties with the help of National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC).
Ms. Sreedevi appealed to the citizens to make use of the online services.
