A Delhi court has upheld a Metropolitan Magistrate court order refusing to summon eight CBI officers, including a Superintendent of Police, as accused on a complaint filed by a Delhi Police Inspector.
Inspector Dilip Kaushik alleged that the CBI officers had wrongly detained and humiliated his family members during a raid at his house in 2010.
The Metropolitan Magistrate, however, had dismissed the complaint of the inspector, holding that the allegations were vague and ambiguous. The Magistrate also observed that the evidence on record was not enough to make out any prima facie case.
In the complaint, the inspector alleged that the CBI team had raided his house on a false complaint lodged at the behest of two people.
In his revision petition against the Magistrate order, the inspector said the order was cryptic and there was no reason to mistrust the complainant or find the allegations vague.
