Victims were given fake appointment orders

The Commissioner of Police Task Force personnel have arrested a youth on the charges of cheating gullible people promising them government jobs by issuing fake appointment letters and service books and collecting huge amounts from them.

Disclosing this to newsmen here on Friday, Commissioner of Police V. B. Kamalasan Reddy said that accused Ramagiri Saikumar (22) of Veldhi village in Manakondur mandal had completed his polytechnic course from Agraharam College in Rajanna-Sircilla district and remained unemployed. He started cheating innocent unemployed youth promising them government jobs and led a luxurious life with the amount collected from the victims.

He had cheated more than eight persons promising jobs in revenue, Model school, GHMC and other departments and collected ₹17 lakh. When the victims realized that they were cheated with fake appointment letters, the accused went missing. With pressure mounting the accused fled to Dubai and failing to get a job there he returned home and was staying with relatives. Task Force inspector Md Ghouse Baba, Karimnagar Two Town inspector T. Mahesh Goud, and others tracked the movement of the accused and arrested him.
