Badminton Association of India (BAI) has nominated Jharkhand Badminton Association (JBA) secretary K Prabhakar Rao as manager of the Indian Badminton Team for the upcoming international meets in Japan and Korea.
Indian (men and women) team will be taking part in Victor Korea Open 2017 BWF World Super Series to be held at Seoul, Korea from September 12 to 17th and Daihatsu Yonex Japan Open 2017 BWF World Super Series to be held at Tokyo, Japan from September 19th to 24th, Rao said
Rao said the team will be leaving for Korea from Delhi tomorrow.
Apart from Rao, Sukanta Das (Sikkim) was also nominated as Team Manager for the event.
Earlier, Rao had been nominated as Indian Team Manager for SAF Games held in Bangladesh, Singapore Open, Malaysian Open, among other.
