A fighting century from Suhas went in vain as Delhi Public School (East) produced an all-round display to drub Carmel School (Padmanabhanagar) and emerge champions of the KSCA under-16 Group I, Division II, inter-school tournament here.

Half-centuries from Jay Desai (58) and Shankarshana (52) took Delhi Public School to a decent total of 227/6 in 38 overs.

Suhas led the charge for Carmel School with a 97-ball 104 (11x4) but ran out of partners in the chase. Desai followed up his good show with the bat to grab four-wickets (4/26) while Suyash picked two (2/39) to help Delhi Public School bundle out their opponents.
