BJYM to launch legal aide service for women

Press Trust of India  |  New Delhi

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president Poonam Mahajan will launch 51 legal aid centres, which will provide free advice to women in distress, across the country via video-conferencing tomorrow, according to an official statement.

The BJYM, the BJP's young wing, has started these centres to provide legal advice on second and fourth Saturdays of every month, it said.

"The 51 legal aid centres, at present, will only cater to women. Later, they may help other sections of society as well," its spokesperson Shivam Chhabra said.
