Rumors have been swirling for months about the idea of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson running for Presidential office in the 2020 election. The Rock has yet to give a firm answer about the matter, other than saying that his candidacy is "a real possibility." But WWE legend and former Johnson rival Chris Jericho doesn't have any doubt that he'll see his former wrestling foe in the Oval Office.

Jericho was on the Rich Eisen Show when the topic of the Rock making a run for the White House came up.

"I have no doubt that's going to happen," he said. He went on to say that he believes Johnson's high level of charisma and ability to "work the camera" will greatly contribute to him eventually claiming the title of "President Rock."

"I honestly think The Rock will run for president," Jericho concluded.

This is just the latest in a whirlwind Johnson presidential rumors. Back in May, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore gave Johnson a raving endorsement, “Run the Rock! Run the Rock. Who do you want for commander in chief? I want the f*cking Rock!"

Seems like the idea of Donald Trump and the Rock squaring off in 2020 is gaining more traction. Honestly, regardless of your political affiliation, who doesn't want to see this happen? If the Rock actually did someday become president, it would fit right into his very unorthodox evolution, from football player to wrestler to actor. And he would definitely have a few leg day tips for those guys on Capitol Hill.
