India complete tour whitewash 9-0 as they beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the one-off T20I in Colombo on Wednesday. Chasing the 171-run target, India lost openers early but rode on a brilliant stand between Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey to seal an emphatic win. Kohli was out after scoring a 54-ball 82 but Manish Pandey stayed there right till the end and hit his maiden fifty in the format in the process. Earlier, spinners did a fine job for the visitors after Munaweera hit the ball to all parts of the park during his breezy 53. This is a staggering result for India as they return home without tasting defeat.
