Virendra Kumar takes charge as MoS for WCD

Dr Virendra Kumar today took charge as Minister of State for Women and Child Development.

Kumar is the member of the from Tikamgarh (Madhya Pradesh). He is 6-time member.


The 63-year-old has strong ties with the and started his career with the saffron group. He is BJP's Dalit face in MP. Known to be passionate about cow protection, he is closely associated with the successful management and functioning of the Gau Seva Sangh Sanstha in Sagar town of Madhya Pradesh.

He also has a post-graduate in Economics and a PhD in Child Labour from Dr Hari Singh Gour University in Sagar.
