BHADERWAH: A meeting of officers was convened under the chairmanship of ADC Bhaderwah, Imam Din here today to review the arrangements of the festival being organized by BDA in collaboration with District Administration Doda and JK Tourism Department on 9th and 10th of September 2017.
CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority, Bal Krishan, DFO, Tehsildar, SDPO, EO Municipal Committee, Executive Engineer PWD R&B and others officer besides prominent citizens & media persons attended the meeting.
In the meeting it was informed various Government departments and private stake holders will set stalls at the venue to provide first hand information regarding various welfare schemes and programmes.It was also informed that various cultural activities will be organized at the fest including sham-e-Bhaderwah ghazals with reputed local and national level artists, cultural walk in which school students will participate and a programme of national level (Padam Shri awardees) artists.
During the festival adequate boarding and lodging facilities will be provided to the visitors. Concerned agencies were requested to ensure availability of transport facility.
Officers from MC Bhaderwah, PHE, PDD and Health Departments were directed to keep the town neat and clean, making drinking water available at venues, providing uninterrupted electric supply and Medicare facilities respectively during the two day festival. All the departments were directed to put in place all the arrangements well in time for successful culmination of the festival.
