Australia concluded Day 3’s proceedings with 377/9 after opener David Warner and Peter Handscomb forged a 152 run third partnership. After rain washed out the entire first session, Bangladesh fought back with three quick wickets as they dismissed Australia’s middle order without being much troubled. While Warner showed remarkable patience in his 123-run knock that came off 234 balls, visitors took a lead of 72 runs after resuming the day at 225-2. Australia will begin Day 4 with Steve O’Keefe (8) and Nathan Lyon (0).
