A 28-year-old man was attacked and robbed by two men near Chintadripet on Tuesday night. Police said, Balachander, a member of a Hindu outfit was on his way home when two men on motorcycles stopped his vehicle and assaulted him. Mr. Balachander suffered injuries on his face, head and chest.
The attackers robbed his two cellphones. He lodged a complaint with the local police and was later admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for treatment.
