Cloud adoption, computing policy discussed at BSA's conference

BSA | The Software Alliance on Wednesday held a conference titled "BSA Computing Roundtable

The roundtable brought together technical experts and representatives from the industry, trade associations, civil society, and academia, with an aim to align business, technical, and policy discussions on adoption and encourage the development of India's infrastructure.

The first session of the roundtable focused on sharing examples of use by governments around the world and with an aim to understand the merits and learnings from those respective examples, while the second session covers challenges and concerns in terms of related policies from a forward-looking perspective.

Around the world, governments are steadily realizing the value proposition of taking a computing approach to deliver public services. Utilizing computing technologies can allow organizations to reduce their spending, whilst harnessing networking innovations to seamlessly offer efficient, accountable, and effective governance.
