Eight years on, Del Potro sets up last eight clash with Federer

In the same stage where Juan Martin del Potro defeated Roger Federer in the final to win the US Open in 2009, the two will face off again, but this time in a quarter-final.

While Federer saw off Philipp Kohlschreiber in straight sets, del Potro needed an epic fight back to get past Dominic Thiem in a five-set thriller.
