No one above law

Sir,
No one is above law of the land.Every guilty who commits an offence against humanity must be punished .To uhold the trust of the people in justice delivery system and maintenance of social order,it  becomes imperative for the judicial institutions to deliver justice impartially without any fear or favour. The court as a custodian of interests of the general public have to struck a balance between individual needs and societal interests. For dispensation of justice ,whosoever guilty shall be punished for the offence committed. The quantum of punishment depends upon the gravity of the offence committed. The more serious the offence, the more severe is the punishment.
Law is an instrument of social change .As society is in continuous flux, therefore law moulds itself according to the changing social needs.
Effective implementation of law is imperative for maintaining social order and social solidarity through social control. Thus ,law has a punitive as well as reformative function .Welfare of the people is the supreme law .Arbitrary laws need to be struck down and welfare centerd laws need to be implemented at the earliest for safeguarding human rights and individual liberties.
